An avid reader, Elese prefers books over just about anything. Sadly, her current library consists mainly of Dr. Seuss. She holds equally useless degrees in English Literature and Biblical Studies, and works in Corporate Communications. When not executing the duties of her office, Elese is a freelance writer and voice over artist. She and her husband live in the suburbs with their delightfully precocious child.
Please contact Elese at elese@elesemorris.com for her professional and creative resumes. You can rest assured that her professional resume is not creative at all, and that her creative resume is chock full of professional experience.
Elese also pretends to draw and paint, and is currently working on a children's book about the food chain.
I started my professional career as a child actor, model, recording artist, and pageant kid. When I grew too wide for the catwalk and the camera (I love carbs), I channeled my considerable amounts of free time and energy into posting on internet message boards, and participating in round robin fanfiction write-a-thons. All the while, I was ghost-writing monthly articles and bi-monthly advice columns for Christian ladies' magazines, managing non-profit and corporate communication programs, and working on The Great American Novel. I have courted freelance gigs wherever I could find them, and am always open to new jobs. Unless the jobs require me to write words that I can't even read without blushing.
I digress. One of my frequent postings to a message board became its own forum called Tastey, which was all about good taste, and not at all about how I might taste thankyouverymuch. Tastey morphed into a LiveJournal account, which I kept until I got tired of having to defend the name.
To The Nines (also about good taste) was the Phoenix rising out of Tastey's ashes, and ran as its own blog for over a year. But no matter how many times I posted pictures of myself in swimsuits, traffic did not increase (carbs), so I turned my attention to other interests.
Now I look forward to what the future brings.
